First trailer for ‘The Carrie Diaries,’ the SATC prequel series starring AnnaSophia Robb in the legendary Manolos.

Granted the show will be on the CW (home of the likes of ‘Gossip Girl’ and ‘The Vampire Diaries’) and it takes a look at Carrie’s high school years, so it can only be so risque. I read both of the prequel books and after finally seeing the trailer, I’m still not sure how I feel about it. I’ll watch, sure, and I get that it exists separately from the SATC that we all know and love, but I hope it doesn’t muddy the waters too much.
